About the Illustrator: Leia Bell
Leia was born and raised in Tennessee and attended college at the University of Utah. Shorty after earning a BFA in Printmaking, she met Phil Sherburne, the owner of the all ages venue, Kilby Court in Salt Lake City. What began as volunteering to make black and white Xerox handbills for the club soon turned into limited edition hand-printed gig posters for bands coming to Kilby Court.
Only four years later she has created over 250 posters and art prints. She has been featured in Newsweek, The Art of Modern Art, NPR radio, Punk Planet, and Design Magazine to name a few. Leia continues to live in Salt Lake City with Phil and are now raising two kids with another on the way.
